Dialogue on the Supply Chain Act
Professional exchange with BAFA on implementing the Supply Chain Act

GO-Chains project members from GIGA Hamburg, together with colleagues from the HWR and Stockholm University travelled to Borna at the end of September for a professional exchange with representatives of the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA). The meeting was hosted by BAFA, the authority responsible for implementing Germany’s Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG).
Discussions focused on practical aspects of the application process, comparative approaches to supply chain regulation across Europe, and methods for data analysis and risk assessment within global supply and value chains.
We extend our thanks to all participants for their openness, constructive discussions, and the valuable professional exchange.
